A fitting having a bend of 180 degrees (3.141 radians) or greater. One connecting end has a flange designed to permit axial rotation of the fitting, usually for the ease of installation, prior to securing it to a flange or mounting pad. The other connection end is designed to grip the hose directly, either externally, internally, or both.
