한쪽 선단이 고정되며 적당한 부도체 재료로 만들어진 직선 봉으로 된 수공구. 한쪽 선단은 평평하게 하거나 또는 맞땜 성형 기구로 고정될 수 있다. 여러가지 형태의 부착물 (훅, 링 벤드)의 몸체에 고정되어 질 수 있다. 이것은 고압 배선의 보수와 유지하기 위한 것이다.

A hand tool consisting of a straight, round stick (pole) made of a suitable nonconductive material with a tool fixed to one end. The other end may be plain or have a butt mounting device fixed to it. Various types of attachments (hooks, rings, and bands) may be fixed to the body. It is designed for use in the repair and maintenance of live high voltage aerial lines. Excludes:hot line sticks without heads.
