부식에 저항할 수 있는 물질로 된 계류용 갈고리와 전나무 가문비나무 또는 그와 유 사한 목재에 부착시킨 소켓으로 되어 있다. 갈고리는 스프링과 갈고리를 열고 닫도록 하여 뜨게하는 장치와 함께 걸쇠를 포함하며, 소켓에 갈고리를 걸 수 있는 핀이 부착되고 진로를 열고 닫을 수 있는 걸쇠를 갖추고 있으며 해상 항공기 계류를 위해 고안되었다.

An assembly consisting of a corrosion resistant metal mooring hook and socket attached to a fir, spruce or similar wood shaft. The hook contains a spring loaded latch with a tripping device to close the hook opening and is provided with an attached locking pin to lock the hook to the socket and retain the latch in an open or closed position. Designed for mooring sea planes.
