An individual respiratory protective device consisting of a facepiece flexible breathing tube, air regulating valve, and a quick release hose coupling. The device may also include an air filter for removing foreign particles and odors from the air supply line, an adjustable waist belt, and an air hose with fittings for connecting the device to a supply of compressed air. A bracket is usually provided for attaching the regulating valve to the belt. This device is designed to supply fresh air to the wearer while in dust laden and contaminated areas.
