A graduated measuring instrument used for measuring diameters of cylindrical objects and converting this reading to circumference dimensions. It consists of a steel spring tempered rule graduated in inches and fractions thereof, with a direct corresponding reading in circumference dimensions. Excludes:railway wheel circumference gages.
