내연기관의 상부 밸브태핏트를 조절하기 위해 고안된 수공구이며 핸들, 한쪽이 개방된 렌치 또는 대치가능한 렌치 소켓트 구동축 및 손잡이로 작용되는 스크류드라이버팁들로 구성되어 있다. 개방(또는 소켓트) 렌치는 태핏조절나사 잠김 너트가 맞물려 있고 스크류 드라이버에는 나사가 맞물려 있다.

A hand device for adjusting overhead valve tappets of internal combustion engines. It consists of a handle, and at one end a wrench opening or a drive for a replaceable wrench socket, and a knob operated screwdriver tip. The wrench opening (or socket) engages the tappet adjusting screw lock nut and the screwdriver engages the screw.
