이동식,일체완비된 엔진으로서 경량의 선박에 임시 설치하도록 고안되었다. 엔진에 견고하게 부착된 수직형 구동축을 가동시키는 경량의 가솔린엔진으로 구성되었다.종축은 수직형 프로펠러축을 구동한다. 배의 방향을 잡기 위하여 전체 유니트를 회전시킬 수도 있으며 앞 부분은 물에서 사용하도록 기울일 수도 있다.
