도관에 90도가 아닌 여러각도로 고정된 한개 또는 두개의 분기가 달린 이음쇠이다. 이 품목은 배수 관로의 교차점에 점합물로 사용되며, 표준중량 단철 파이프 또는 구리로 된 배수, 폐수 곡관에 맞추도록 내부 나사 부분이나 비나사 부분의 끝단에 어깨가 달려 있다. 접합되었을 때, 맞물린 파이프나 파이프 이음쇠 또는 이상 두가지 모두가 어깨에 밀착하여 우묵한 곳을 제거하고, 관로의 내용물이 잘 흐르도록 한다 . 이 품목은 측면에 인입구를 가질 수 있다.

A fitting having one or two branches which are fixed at various angles other than 90 degrees (1.5705 radians) to the run. It is used as a junction at the intersection of a drainage line and is provided with a shoulder(s) at the end(s) of its internal threaded or unthreaded portion, conforming to standard weight wrought iron pipe or copper drainage, waste and vent (DWV) tube. When connected, the mating pipe and/or pipe fitting is close to the shoulder to eliminate a pocket and provide a smooth flow to the contents of the line. It may have side inlet(s).
