진행방향에 대해 직각인 3개의 등거리 연결가지가 있는 이음쇠이다. 내부 나선부 또 는 밋밋한 부분의 끝에 내수 솔더가 나와 있으며,그 내경은 표준연강 파이프 동배수 관 폐수 및 환 기관에 맞도록 만들어져 있 다. 연결하면 파이프및 파이프 이음쇠의 조립이 솔더 밀착되어 포켓를 제거하고 유체 의 흐름을 용이하게 한다. 측면 유입구가 있는 것도 있다.

A fitting having three connections with the branch connection equidistant and fixed at 90 degrees (1.5705 radians) to the run. It is provided with an internal shoulder(s) at the end(s) of its internally threaded or unthreaded portion, whose inside diameter conforms to standard weight wrought iron pipe or copper drainage, waste and vent (DWV) tube. When connected, the mating pipe and/or pipe fitting is close to the shoulder to eliminate a pocket and provide a smooth flow of the pipe and/or pipe fitting contents. It may have side inlet(s).
