고무판 이외의 조립 물질이 두번 또는 그 이상으로 겹쳐진 것이다. 겹치는 고무풀, 아교, 송진등과 같은 접착제로 하든가, 접착제를 사용하지 않고 고압을 가하여 하든가 또는 열압을 가하여 용해시키는 방법들이있다. 최소한 한겹은 섬유직물 이어야하고 다른 층(들)은 플라스틱판, 알루미늄박또 는 이와 유사한 품질이어야 한다.이 성층 직물의 한쪽면 또는 양쪽면이 피복될 수 있다. 한쪽면 또는 양쪽면 피복된 한겹의 비금속 천을 참조하려면"천,피복된(CLOTH COATED)"을 본다.비금속 천을 삽입한 고무판을 참조하려면 "고무판,단단한, 천 삽입형을 (RUBBER SHEET,SOLID,CLOTH INSERT)"을 본다.

A fabricated material other than rubber sheet composed of two or more plies that are either put together by a binder such as rubber, glue, or resin; or put together under extreme pressure without a binder, or melted together under a heat-pressure process. At least one layer must qualify as a textile product, the other layer(s) being plastic sheet, aluminum foil or the like. The laminated product may be coated on one or both sides.
