동일면에 축이 직각을 이루는 네개의 분기가 있는 이음쇠이다. 한개이상의 연접분기는 표준 파이프 나사를 갖거나 혹은 나사가 깍여지지 않았으며 파이프에 연결하도록 제작된다. 잔여 연접분기에 튜브가 연결하도록 제작된 기계 나사(파이프나 호스류 이외에는 직선나사)가 있거나 혹은 나사가 깍여지지 않았으며 튜브에 연결하도록 제작된다. 이것은 측면 입구를 가질 수 있다.
