동력식 혼합기로서 트럭 샤시에 탑재되어 있다. 내부원통 주위에 붙은 고정날개와 외부의 회전 드럼이 있어서 골재,시멘트,물 등을 혼합하여 콘크리트를 만든다. 콘크리트 공장에서 혼합물을 싣고 목적지까지 가 는도중 혼합 또는 교반을 하거나 이 두가지를 할 수 있게 되어 있다.

A power-operated machine mounted on a truck chassis. It has a revolving drum with fixed blades mounted on the inner circumference, in which aggregate, cement and water are mixed in the preparation of concrete. The mixer is normally charged at a batching plant and performs the mixing and/or agitating operations while enroute.
