보통 사각형 모양으로 된 기판과 엄지레버와 통합된 홈파인 베벨볼트 및 스트라이크로 구성된 조임기구 볼트와 레버는 볼트와 레버에 의해 형성되는 직각의 정점에 위치한 핀에 의해 기판에 부착된다. 볼트는 홈파인 베벨스트라이크와 같이 연결되도록 설계되었다. 걸쇠는 한쪽으로부터만 작동될 수 있다.
품명정의(영문)
A fastening device consisting of a base plate, usually rectangular in shape, a notched bevel bolt which is integral with a thumb lever, and a strike. Attachment of the bolt and lever to the base plate is obtained by means of a pin located at the vertex of the right angle formed by bolt and lever. The bolt is designed to interlock with its notched bevel strike. Catch can be operated from one side only.
