압착,용접되거나 또는 리벳으로 고정된 강철 외곽 틀이며 기중기의 고리에 걸기 위해 가로대의 부착에 알맞은 이축이 고정되어 달린다.외곽 틀을 어느 위치로나 기울일 수 있도록 적당한 기어장치를 통해 움직이는 수레바퀴가 제공된다. 기어장치는 채워지거나 또는 빈국자가 멋대로 기울지지 않도록 정렬한다.

A pressed, welded or riveted steel shell fitted with suitable trunnions for the attachment of a bail for hanging from crane hook. A hand wheel is provided which acts through suitable gearing in order to tilt the shell to any position. The gearing is arranged in such a manner that the filled or empty ladle cannot tilt by itself from any position.
