호스나 다른 호스 부분품에 또는 호스 부분품을 결합하도록 설계된 직선의 호스용구로서,호스부분품에 호스를 연결시키려면 두가지 형태의 호스 연결장치가 있어야 하고 하나의 연결장치는 표준 호스 나사를 가져야 한다. 두개의 호스부분품들을 연결시키려면 양끝에 같은 크기의 표준호스나사를 가진 두가지 형태의 호스 연결장치가 있어야 하고 한개의 연결장치 만은 수나사이어야 한다. 자동밀봉 또는 급속분리되는 품목들을 제외한다.

A straight hose fitting designed to join a hose fitting or to a hose or another hose fitting. For connecting hose to hose fittings it must have two types of hose connections and one connection must have standard hose threads. For connecting two hose fittings it must have two types of hose connections that have standard hose threads of the same size on both ends, only one connection may be externally threaded. Excludes:items with self-sealing and/or quick disconnect features.
