한쪽 끝이 직선형이거나 각을 이루고 작은 고리를 갖도록 또는 버팀줄 와이어,케이블, 로프를 걸쇠에 거는 설비를 갖도록 설계된 여러가지 원형의 단면을 가진 직선형 자루봉이다. 반대쪽은 끝은 밖으로 나삿니가 파여 있거나 그렇지 않으면 닻이나 딱딱한 저부에 부착 수단으로 설비되어 있다.땅에 앵커를 내리는 수단은 설비되어 있지 않다.타원 또는 원형의 작은 고리를 가진끝이 나삿니인 형태는 제외하고 "볼트,아이형(BOLT,EYE)"를 참조한다.

A straight shank bar of circular cross section, having one end straight or angled and designed with an eye(s) or other provisions for securing a guy wire, cable, or rope. The opposite end is externally threaded or otherwise provided with a means of attaching to another item or a solid foundation. Has no designed means of anchoring into the ground.
